Lippie Themed Sunday Savings!

I'm really excited about these first two items! I was inspired to buy these by another blogger here. She wrote a post raving about these so I decided to try them. They're the Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Lip Color. These are amazing, I'm obsessed with matte lippies so ofcourse I loved them! The colors I got them in are very versatile for any season. These are also extremely long lasting. Something that I did notice which may be a good or bad thing is that they dry extremely quickly, meaning if you apply this and decide you want to go with a different lip product getting this off will be a hassle even with a make up remover wipe. On the other hand if you love long lasting color and you're in a rush the dry time will be perfect for you. I personally love how fast they dry and have no complaints about this product. I got these from Five Below for $2 each in the colors Pocketful of Roses(Left) & I Can Bare It(Right)

Here's a swatch of both colors.
Th next item is this Fergie Wet n Wild  High Shine Lip Stain. I got this in the shade "Legendary Face" and I absolutely love this color! It's like a pale pink which is perfect for me. So this is pretty much a glossy lip stain. I love how the product is long lasting but still keeps its shine, I also appreciate how it's not at all too sticky which is one of the reasons I usually don't wear lipgloss. I can see myself wearing this without my hair sticking to my lips every 30 seconds which is great. I got this at Walgreens for $3
Here's a swatch of the lip stain.

I hope everyone enjoyed this week's Sunday Savings!

Until next Sunday, xoxo

Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale Haul!

If you have me on Twitter you know I was at Bath & Body Works this week because they're having their Semi-Anual sale! Which I believe is still going on for those of you in need of some new body care products.

The first and only "full set" I got was in the scent Cool Amazon Rain. I love this scent so much, I've never heard of or even tried this one so that was exciting. I feel like this is a year round scent as opposed to a "Summer scent" or "Fall scent" if you get what I mean. Although I wear whatever scent I want during any time of the year I know there are some people who are slightly more picky. (I know I said the word scent like 12 times lol)  Cool Amazon Rain is perfect for any time of the season. The scent includes: Amazon Rain, Brazillian Starfruit, Frangipani, Exotic Mandarin, & Dewy Bamboo. The original prices of the body lotion and shower gel are $12.50 each and I got both for $3.18 each! The original price for the body spray is $14 and I got it for $3.50! It doesn't get better than that!

The next scent I got and probably my favorite is Country Apple. So I've actually never owned any Apple scented body products so this was great to find. I also found out that this was one of their scents from the 90s which is really cool in my opinion. I LOVE this scent and how fresh and fruity it smells! I seriously can't get over it. This scent includes: McIntosh Apple, Apple Blossom, Fresh Muguet, Sheer Sunlight, & Orchard woods. I was only able to get the lotion and matching body spray because the shower gel wasn't available. The body lotion was originally $12.50 and I got it for $3.18 and the body spray was originally $14 and I got it for $3.50!
Last I got the scents Pearberry In the lotion & Peach Bellini in the body spray. I actually thought this was the set since they were right next to eachother but realized they weren't when I got home, no big deal though. The Pearberry scent includes: Anjou Pear, Wild Berries, Apple Blossom, Golden Freesia, & Blonde Woods. The Peach Bellini scent doesn't include a description but it smells just like peaches without being too over bearing. Again, the body lotion is originally $12.50 and I got it for $3.18 and the body spray is $14 and I got it for $3.50.

I was surprised I didn't get a lot more since I usually go crazy with these sales but everything I got will be going to school with me when I leave in the fall so I didn't need to buy a lot since I already have a bunch of body products at home. There were so much candles on sale as well but as a lot of you know candles aren't allowed at dorms and being as I already have a lot of candles at home, there was no point in buying any.

I hope everyone enjoyed this haul!

Until next time, xoxo

Mini Drugstore Haul!

Today I was doing a little shopping and decided to share what I picked up with you guys.
The first thing I got was this elf BB cream in the color buff which is the same color I have my elf foundation in. I've been wanting to purchase a BB cream since it's Summer and I probably won't be motivated to put a full face of makeup on most days. Having this will definitely make that easier. I got this at Target for $6 which is really good, I can't wait to try this!
Next and last 2 items are the Limited edition Wet n Wild Coloricon Blush & Glow Trios. I got these in the colors Solar Powered(Top) and Fair Trade Coffee(Bottom) I posted about these in my last Sunday Savings post where I spoke about the Sunset Junction color which I'm completely blown away by. I'm extremely excited to try these and see if I love them as much as the first trio I tried. I got these at Duane Reade for only $3.99 each!

There's my mini haul, I hope everyone enjoyed reading.

Until next time, xoxo

Sunday Savings!

Before I get started with this week's Sunday Savings I want to say that from now on Sunday Savings will no longer be on products $3 or less. I decided to bump up the price range to $5 or less. I often find myself wanting to share amazing products with you guys that are $4 or even $5 but can't because of the $3 rule. I figured $5 is still extremely addordable and broadens the selection of items I'll be able to share. So with that being said, let's get started!

The first item is this Limited Edition Wet n Wild Coloricon Blush & Glow Trio in Sunset Junction. I love love love this trio! The colors are seriously perfect. I especially love how everything(Blush, Bronzer, & highlight) is in one place this definitely colors cuts down my makeup time by a few minutes. This is also perfect for traveling, instead of bringing three different products you have a great 3-in-1 to travel with. This trio was only $3.99 which is an amazing price!
Next is this Simple brand moisturizing face wash. I've been in the market for a new face wash so the travel section of drugstores are my go to. I bought this travel size tube for $2.39. I really like face wash, it's all natural with no harsh chemicals of artificial perfumes. It definitely does the job and leaves my face feeling nice and clean.

There's this week's Sunday savings. I hope everyone enjoyed reading.

Until next Sunday, xoxo

June BoxyCharm!

Finally, my boxycharm has arrived and even though this is only my second box it's definitely my favorite! I'm so excited to share this month's box with you guys so let's jump right in!

Here's an overview of what I got this month
The first item I got is this Eslor Chlorophyll Lifting Mask. In my last post I mentioned  that I've really been into skin care so I was extremely excited to see this! It's a gel-like cream that you apply to your face until it dries. Once dry you rinse off with warm water. It claims to "Tighten the skin, help enhance blood circulation, & diminish fine lines" this is a full size jar and it retails for $38

The next thing I got was a Bellapierre Cosmetics Kabuki Brush. I only own one Kabuki brush and use it everyday so adding another one to my collection to test out is great. It claims to be "Cruelty-free & made of 100% synthetic fibers" This is a full size brush and retails for $29.99

Next is a Doucce Click Click Lipstick in the shade 811. If you read my last boxycharm post you know that I wasn't too crazy about last month's lipstick shade but boxycharm has certainly redeemed themselves with this month's shade! I'm in love with this color, it's a beautiful rosy pink and it's a color I normally wear. I'm so excited to try this lipstick plus the packaging is so cool! This is a full size lipstick & it retails for $24
Here's a swatch of the lipstick.
Next up is The Beauty Crop Lighting Crew Highlighting Cream. I don't own anything like this but trust me I'm so happy it came in my box! It claims to be an "Oil-free, lightweight, highlighting cream that adds a healthy, luminous glow." You can apply it to your cheekbones for a nice highlight or mix it with your favorite lotion for a natural glow. I can't wait to use this on days when it's too hot to apply makeup or when I simply don't feel like it, plus the scent of this cream is heavenly! I believe this is a full size tube and retails for $16

Last and definitely not least is the ncLA Nail Lacquer in the color Volume IV. If you know me, you know I love love love anything nude especially nail color! I was so excited to see this in my box and instantly fell in love with the color. This is a full size bottle and it retails for $16
Nope I couldn't wait to use this. Here's what it looks like on, this color is everything!

There's this month's boxycharm, I hope everyone reading enjoyed!

Until next time, xoxo

June Glam Bag!

This month's ipsy bag came in! And I'm so excited to share with you guys what I got(my first bag ever!) lets get into it:
Here's a first glance of all 5 products that came in my glam bag. Unfortunately Ipsy doesn't include any retail prices for the products so I'll do my best with providing them.

The first thing that came in my bag was a Formula X nail polish sample. There's no exact color on the bottle but it's a very summery, bright, coral color. A full size of this nail polish sells for up to $10.50 I'll definitely be using this color throughout the summer, especially when I'm trying to show off my tan.
The next item is the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer sample. I'm really excited for this one being as I love trying out new primers and Smashbox is a really good brand. A full size tube of this primer retails for upto $36!
The next item is the TrèStique mini shadow crayon in the color Marimoto Pink Pearl. I really like the color of this shadow because it's so neutral meaning I'll definitely be using it where as a more crazier bright color would probably collect dust. A full size shadow crayon retails for $26.

Next is the Befine Cucumber Facial Mask sample. Lately I've been really into skin care so this is perfect for me right now. I also love the scent of this face mask. I'll definitely be using this ASAP like tonight! A full size tube retails for $25
Last and surprisingly maybe least is the it Cosmetics Brow Power Pencil. Now I'm sure the product is great however I'm just not into shading in my eyebrows at all so this probably won't be put to use unless it's a special occasion or something like that. A full size of this brow pencil retails for $12.

There's everything that came in my June Glam Bag! I'm pleased for the most part and can't wait to see what comes in next month's bag.

Until next time, xoxo

Sunday Savings!

Here's this week's Sunday Savings:
The first item is this Wet n Wild Fergie Velvet Matte Lip Color in the color Pinky Candy. I posted about how amazing these lippies are in my last post but have yet to get this color. I finally found it in this color and trust me it has been so hard for me to find! These are usually $4 but I got this one for only $3 with my discount at Duane Reade. If you would like to know more about this lippie take a look at my previous post.
Here's a swatch for anyone wondering how it looks.

Next is this Matte Lip Color from elf in the color Tea Rose. I've been really into matte lippies lately so finding this in the color I found it for only $3 was perfect! It glides on so smoothly and isn't drying at all, they're very similar to the Wet n Wild Velvet Matte Lip Color.
Here's a swatch of the lippie, it's very bold in color

There's this week's Sunday Savings, I hope everyone enjoyed reading! I do want to apologize for missing last week's Sunday Savings, I didn't purchase anything worth posting about that week.

Until next time, xoxo

Current Favorite Lippie!

My favorite lippies right now are definitely the Fergie Wet n Wild Velvet Matte Lip Color! I have seriously fallen in love with these! They go on so smoothly and creamy but end up so matte plus they're not drying at all. The three colors I have them in are(from top to bottom) Plumgenue, Timeless Chick, & Trendescendence. I plan to buy all the colors in this line because they're just so perfect!
Here's some color swatches so you guys can see what they look like on, beautiful aren't they? If you're looking for a pretty matte lip color that doesn't need to be worn with lip liner, look no further these are all you need!

Hope everyone found this useful

Until next time, xoxo

Updated Everyday Makeup!

I decided to do an updated everyday markup post since my everyday makeup has changed a lot since the last time I posted it. This is also a everyday makeup routine post, I will be listing the products in the order I apply them. Let's get right into it.
1. NYX Studio Perfect Photo-Loving Primer in the regular clear color. This is the only product I apply with just my fingers. I love this primer! It goes on so smoothly and gives my face a nice soft texture to start applying my makeup on.
2. Maybelline FIT me Concealer in the color light. I first bought this concealer because I saw one of the YouTube beauty gurus I watch using it and she loved it, so I decided to try it. Let me just say that this is probably one of the best concealers I've ever used! It's so easy to blend and barely creases.

3. Elf Flawless Finish Foundation In the color buff. This is anther new found gem of mine! I've been using this foundation for about a month and a half now and so far so good! I love how easy it applies and the coverage is great. I found that it doesn't make my skin look oily at all or even dry in some spots(since I have combination skin) so that's such a plus! Another pro to this foundation is a little goes a long way, you don't need to apply much product on your face for full coverage.

4. Wet n wild Coloricon Bronzer in Bikini Contest. I like this bronzer a lot, I have noticed however that it's very easy to over apply this so I need to have a very light hand during application but all in all this bronzer gets the job and the amount of product it brings is a plus!

5. NYX Powder Blush In the color Mocha. This is one that was in my last everyday makeup. I love this blush the consistency is amazing. I have been trying Milani blushes as well but mainly I use this kind. This gives me the perfect flushed look.

6. BH Cosmetics Blush Duo In Daisy. I only use this for the highlight. I have yet to try the blush but the highlight color is so perfect!
7. Elf High Definition Powder this powder is so good! It gives my face that beautiful poreless "blurred" look. It also sets my makeup and helps it last longer.
8. NYX Butter Lipstick and Rimmel Lipstick In the colors Snow Cap and Pink Blush The Rimmel lipstick was also in my last everyday makeup. I use these 2 equally so I couldn't just choose one. I love the colors of both of these and especially how creamy they are.

There's my updated everyday makeup I hope everyone enjoyed reading

Until next time, xoxo

Boyfriend's PROM!

Yesterday was my boyfriend's prom, we had soo much fun and I think we looked amazing so I decided to share my look with you guys.
I'll start off with my makeup. I got it done in the MAC Department in Macy's. I seriously loved my makeup! I knew I wanted something navy for the eye makeup(to match my dress) but I didn't want it so dark, the girl who did my makeup gave me the exact look I wanted! It wasn't too dark but was clearly navy blue. I also loved the choice of lip color she used I feel like it went amazing with my dress since the inside color was a nude. The makeup was free but MAC requires you to purchase a minimum of $75 worth of their products which is great since I don't have any MAC products. I'll definitely be showing you all what I purchased from MAC in an upcoming post.
Next is hair! So I loved loved loved my hair! I got it done at a small studio salon called Styles On B. I showed the hairdresser a photo of what I wanted  and she nailed it! I will admit at first I wasn't too crazy about the front but as the day went by my hair started to soften giving it a really pretty romantic feel. I also thought the blonde in my hair looked so pretty with this hairstyle.
Next is my nails which was the fastest and least thought about aspect to my look. I definitely wanted something simple using my natural nails, so I just got them painted navy and then got some silver sparkles on my ring finger however I think they went very well with my dress.
Next is my dress! The dress was navy blue with silver gems. I especially loved the back of the dress and the split on the front. I was initially looking for a dress at a  prom dress store but they seemed way too over priced. I stopped at a store called Windsor which is mainly a regular  clothing store but they do have some formal dresses, I found this one in my size which was the last one and fell in love with it! The dress was $199
Last is the clutch and shoes. I definitely went for sparkly silver to go with the dress. I got the clutch in Windsor for $24.99 & I got the shoes in a local store for $39.99 if I'm not mistaken.

There's my whole look for my boyfriend's prom, here's a short photo slideshow from yesterday

Hope everyone enjoyed reading and watching! Until next time, xoxo!
