Top 5: Hair Products!

I'm back with another Top 5 list, today it's hair products! Let's jump right in.
1. Batiste Dry Shampoo: I wasn't able to actually take a photo of it since I just ran out and accidentally tossed the can without taking a photo :( but nonetheless this is by far the best dry shampoo I've ever tried! It leaves my hair so soft, fresh, and alive. I'm not a huge fan of this particular scent however there is quite a few scents to choose from so that's no big deal. Another thing I wanted to point out is that this dry shampoo does leave a white layer on your hair but it rubs off with little to no effort. I picked this up at K-Mart for $6.00

2. Mark Hill shine, protect, & control spray: I love this spray! It does so much amazing things to my hair. It adds shine, protects from heat, and even acts as a hairspray! I spray this on my hair when it's damp and am never disappointed. I purchased this on clearance at Duane Reade for $2
3. Dove Strength and Shine Extra Hold Hairspray: This is seriously the hairspray I live by! I've never used anyother hairspray but this one since I first tried it. It holds your hair in place all day without leaving that hard sticky hairspray feeling on your hair. It also smells amazing, I'm a little obsessed with the smell of this product. I got this at target for $4.00
4. Mane 'n Tail Anti Frizz 'n shine serum: I use this pretty much daily on the tips of my hair. It changes my hair dramatically and instantly moisturizes it. I wish the scent was a bit stronger because it has a very faint scent. The scent of this is really good however it reminds me of how baby oil smells. I don't remember where I purchased this but it was no more than $5.00
5. Gorge I'll make you look amazing daily spray: This is another one I've been using everyday and love! What's cool about this spray is that it does so much for your hair from repairing it to adding amazing silkiness. I use this when my hair is damp and let it sit and it gives me amazing results. I actually got this in this month's Boxycharm box but this retails for $30.00

Sunday Savings!

The first three items I picked up were from a brand called Savi. I got these from Walgreens for just $1! I picked up a four sided nail buffer(top), a body buffer(left), & a cosmetic sharpener(right). I was extremely excited to find these for the price I did since I needed all 3 of these.
The next item is something from a brand I raved about in one of my previous Sunday Savings. It's a Mark Hill Straightening Shampoo. I'm really happy I found this since I straighten my hair a lot, I'm sure this will help. This was initially $9.79 but I got it for $2.44. I was disappointed I couldn't find the the conditioner to go with it but will definitely keep an eye out.
Last is this pack of 3 emery boards. I recently lost the emery boards I had so was in need of some more. I found this pack for $2 at Duane Reade, the colors and patterns on these nail filers are so cute! I'm not yet sure if I'll use these now or save them for school but I definitely will be using them.

There's this week's Sunday Savings! I'm sorry for the delay & hope everyone enjoyed reading.

Until next Sunday, xoxo!

Sunday Savings!

This week's Sunday Savings are all items I got from the dollar spot at Target. I love love love the dollar spot! There's so many amazing finds and they're always either $1 or $3. If you haven't checked out the dollar spot at your local target do so ASAP! Everything I got was specifically for school since I'll be going away and dorming next month. Anyways, let's get into it:
The first things I got were these small tin buckets and a tin pencil holder. All of these were $1 each. I'm not sure what I'll use the tin buckets for yet but the pencil holder will be used for pens and pencils.

The next thing I got was this pack of 5 file dividers. I think these are so cute! Each one is a different pattern and color scheme. This will come in handy for school and it was only $1
The next three things I got is an unlined notepad for just jotting things down at my desk. I got a magnetic notepad to stick on my white board, I love the colors on this pad(white & gold) + it has 80 sheets which is perfect. I also got a pack of blank notecards with envelopes. These will definitely come in handy someway somehow lol! But the design on front is so cute. I paid $1 for each of these items.
Next two things I got were these storage containers. The one on the left is a pack of 2 small rectangular containers with handles on each side. I was thinking of using these as organization for my desk drawers. The one on the right is a big rectangular container. I love the size of this one and I can store a lot in here.
Both of these were $1 each
The last thing I got was this 2 pack of accessory hangers. I have A LOT of scarves and this is the perfect way to store them. Each hanger has 5 scarf loops and 5 belt loops. I only paid $3 for this 2 pack.

There's this week's Sunday Savings. I hope everyone enjoyed reading!

Until next Sunday, xoxo

July's BoxyCharm

My boxycharm for this month has finally arrived! I love everything I received in the box and can't wait to share with you all. With that being said, let's get started:
Here's an overview of everything I got!
The first thing I got was this gorge I'll make you look amazing daily spray. This smells really really good and claims to do so much great things to your hair like  repair damage, protect from heat, prevent split ends and breakage, & so much more. The formala of this product is actually really cool because it has a gel consistency but sprays liquid. I can't wait to try this and hopefully see results. This is a full size and retails for $30.00
The next item I got was this Ofra Lip Liner in the color "Delicious Red" I love how creamy this lip liner glides on. I do however wish that this had a twistable  bottom instead of it being an actual pencil that you need to sharpen. The color is actually really interesting and I'll definitely experiment with it since I don't really have any colors like this. This is a full size item and retails for $13.00

Here's a swatch of "Delicious Red"

Next item I got was a yourMinerals Transparent Veil Setting Powder. It claims to be a "ultralight silk texture that settles into a smooth, matte surface while minimizing fine lines and pores." I've been looking into setting powders ever since I bought my Wet n Wild pressed powder so getting this in my box is like a blessing. I'm so so excited to try this! This is a medium full size and it retails for $26.00
The next thing that came in my box is a Vasanti Professional Blush Brush. I love love love getting makeup brushes in my susbscription boxes! I received one in my last box and was just as excited. This brush feels really soft and it's the perfect size for a blush brush. This is a full size and retails for $30.00
The next and last item I got is a MDMflow Great Than Mascara. As I've stated before I'm not a very big eye makeup fan so seeing this didn't make me so excited.  However I do use mascara from time to time during an event or something like that so it is good to have on hand + look at that packaging! This is the prettiest mascara I've ever seen seriously. This is a full size and retails for $35.00

The overall value of this month's box is $132.95 which is amazing!

I hope everyone enjoyed reading.

Until next time, xoxo

Top 5: Nail Polishes

Today I'm sharing my Top 5 Nail Polishes with you guys!
1. Sinful Colors in Easy Going. I've been a fan of Sinful Colors for a couple of years now. I love how inexpensive they are + their huge color selection! I was instantly drawn to this color when I saw it in it's display. This shade is a very light pink that looks almost white. I really like this for summer I think it's a perfect color.

2. Wet n Wild in Yo Soy. This shade is so so interesting and unique. I love this shade it's very muted but in a good way. This is definitely a year round shade + I love Wet n Wild nail polishes!

3. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Coral Reef. This is another beautiful shade for summer. Everyone knows neon colors bring out any tan so painting my nails this color really made me feel so tan lol! Plus the formula is great and long lasting.
4. NCLA nudes in Volume IV. I got this in my boxycharm last month and have really been obsessed with it. This shade is seriously perfect. I've painted my nails with this color all month long and still can't get enough of it. I love how sometimes it looks nude, sometimes it looks pink, and sometimes it even looks purple. I love this nail polish.
5. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Mauve it. I love this pinky color. This is a perfect nail polish for those times when you're in a rush because the brush is so thick so it only takes about two swipes to cover each nail + it dries so fast which is great!

Jewelry Candle + Reveal!

About: Jewelry Candles are scented candles that have a hidden piece of  jewelry inside. The Jewelry piece can be a bracelet, ring, earrings, or a necklace worth anywhere from $10 to $7500. You can either be surprised or choose what type of Jewelry you would like in your candle. I chose a bracelet.
The Candle:
Here's what the candle looks like. It's a 21oz glass jar & It comes with a glass lid. The label with all the information is placed on front. I really like how simple and classic the look of the candle is and thought it looked even more beautiful lit.
The Scent: I got my candle in the scent "Little Black Dress" the Jewelry Candle website describes the scent as "Sweet cotton candy and lemon drops with raspberry jam, sweet caramel, fragrant lily of the valley and soft musk." I really enjoyed this scent but did find it slightly over bearing from time to time. I will admit though, the scent did fill my room which I enjoyed.
The Reveal: After about a couple days of burning the candle I finally saw the small bag inside of the candle which holds the jewelry.

I was extremely pleased with the bracelet I received in my candle. I think it's so beautiful, I have not yet looked up the worth of the bracelet so I won't be able to provide it.
Here's how the bracelet looks, I'll admit I was worried I wouldn't like the type of jewelry that came in my candle but I was pleasantly surprised!

All in all if I had to rate this Jewelry Candle I would definitely give it 5 stars. I just finished ordering a second one that's how much I love it! I'll definitely keep you guys up to date on the second candle.

I hope everyone enjoyed reading!

Until next time, xoxo!
