Top 9 Apps I use!

Before calling it a night I decided I'd write a post about the top 9 apps I use. Before I get started I would like to point out that all of these apps are free! 

My top 9 apps(in no particular order) are:

1. Instagram: I'm sure everyone reading is very familiar with this app and knows just how addicting it is! I love posting photos of my day to day life(Mostly selfies!) and seeing my follower's photos as well. I've been on Instagram for about 2 years now and love it!

2. Twitter: Along with Instagram I'm sure everyone knows what Twitter is as well, quite to my surprise this probably has to be my favorite social network. It's very fast-paced in my opinion and I love that, Twitter is also very opinionated at times which can be both good and bad but I always get a good laugh at my Timeline every time I go on!

Fun Fact: My boyfriend and I actually met on Twitter, crazy right?

3. Facebook: Contrary to popular opinion, Facebook is still as essential to me now as it was in 2011! I love Facebook! I mainly use it to see what my family is up to since it's probably the only social network they're active on, I also get to see some entertaining videos from time to time so that's a plus.

4. Blogger: Did you guys think I wasn't going to add this?! DUH! I love Blogger, I mainly write my posts on this app instead of my laptop since I'm always on the go. I do appreciate how easy it is to upload, edit, and delete a post. I'm pretty much always on this app!

5. Pandora: Pandora, Pandora, Pandora! Oh how I love you...Pandora is like the answer to all my music prayers! My stations vary from Country Music to 2000s Radio Hits and there's nothing better than that. I can literally listen to a station depending on my mood in one tap, the only bummer is the skip limit but I rarely use them up since I have so many stations to choose from. All in all Pandora is everything!

6. Uber: Uber is seriously a lifesaver! For those of you who don't know what Uber is, it's a car service app that allows you to get a cab with just a few taps and if you live in NYC you know how frustrating and nearly impossible it can be to hail a yellow cab or even call a car service company. Uber's prices are also some of the best I've seen, This app has literally made my life so much easier.

7. GrubHub: Like Uber, GrubHub is another lifesaver! Even though I live in the city there's not many food restaurants near my house and on those lazy, rainy Sunday's GrubHub really comes in handy. I can get a hot meal delivered to my door in just a tap or three. I recommend this app to everyone!

8. FrameMagic: This app is actually one I didnt realize I use all the time until today. It's a collage app for those of you who don't know. It's one of the easiest collage apps I've encountered and the collage patterns and shapes that are available are amazing!

9. Covet: I actually made a post about this app, that's how much I love it! It's a fashion game that I play everyday it's so so addicting and not to mention FUN! I wrote all about this app in a previous post if any of you want to know a little more about it you're more than welcome to check it out!

Everyday makeup!

Hey beauties, I decided I'd make an "Everyday Makeup" post to talk about the the makeup products I use everyday, so let's get started: 

1. NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer in shade 684 - I actually stopped using this primer for a while simply because I ran out and never went back to get more, I love this primer! it leaves a beautiful sheer glimmer on my skin it's very illuminating.

2. Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid-Touch Foundation in 85 Sun Beige. I love love love this foundation! I've gotten many compliments on how flawless it looks on my skin. The only complaint I do have is how Maybelline made the applicator for this foundation, it's a dropper which can get pretty messy at times I would definitely prefer a pump but still, this foundation gets 5 stars from me!

3. NYX Powder Blush (I won't include a shade since I use different shades daily) however I love this blush it's slightly sheer but can definitely be built up, the colors I've seen for this blush are beautiful as well! I recommend it to everyone.

4. Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in the shade 021 Sun Light, I would say this bronzer is OKAY I do like how much product comes in the case but I feel like I don't get the bronzy look I really want, for now this bronzer will do until I found a better one that suits me.

5. Rimmel London Lipstick in the shade 006 Pink Blush(Confession: I actually haven't been using this lipstick lately) however I've used this constantly for the past few months so I decided to still add this to the post. I love this lipstick so much! The color is perfect and it's so creamy, it's also lasted me a very long time and I still have some left over which is also a plus! 

6. The two brushes I use daily are the Real Techniques brushes(Stipple and Blush) I got these in a brush set for Christmas and absolutely love them! They very rarely shed and apply my makeup so beautifully, another plus is the color since I'm a pink lover ;)

Fishing Day!

Today I went fishing with my boyfriend and I was extremely excited since we haven't done this since last summer! It was a day well spent and the view was beautiful as always. We also put our Selfie Stick to good use and took some amazing selfies, I'm excited to use this for the summer in pools, rides, outdoor activities, etc. I love how secure it keeps my phone I wasn't worried about it falling into the water at all, I recommend it to everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your day and the beautiful weather to go with it.

Sunday Savings!

So this is my very first Sunday Savings! Every Sunday I'll share at least one product I've purchased for $3 or less that I'm loving.

This week's item actually isn't something I purchased for myself. I saw these big bottles of Gatorade in Duane Reade and they were only 2/$3! So I decided to pick them up for my boyfriend to drink at a game or just at practice. This is such a good deal, the size of the bottle is great, and the price is even better!

Small Deals Haul!

Yesterday my boyfriend and I stopped by Deals just to see what they had. I actually love this store but don't visit it as much as I wish I could since there isn't one near me. For those of you who don't know what Deals is, it's basically another dollar tree where 80% of the items are only $1 here's what I bought:

•Gift bags for Mother's Day which were all $1 each even the 3-pack!

•Tissue paper $1

•A bunch of Mother's Day cards for all the mothers in my family, these were 2 for $1 which I was extremely excited about!

•A 5-pack of gum since I always run out of it $1

•A small notebook that I'll use to jot things down $1

•A 3-pack of Kleenex tissues since both my boyfriend and I have had an on & off cold

Thats everything I purchased from Deals. My total was only $11! I love stores like these and will definitely go back for more.

Small Drugstore Haul!

I stopped by CVS on my way home today and picked up some beauty items. I purchased the makeup remover wipes yesterday in Strawberrys but decided to add it to this haul since they can be found in drugstores as well. 

Here's what I picked up:

•NYX butter lipstick in "Snow Cap"

•NYX soft matte lip cream in "Tokyo"

•NYX powder blush in "Mocha"

•NYX powder blush in "Dusty Rose"

•Elf makeup remover cleansing cloths

Here's swatches of the 2 lip colors I bought, the first one is "Tokyo" and the second is "Snow Cap" I will admit I'm not too crazy about Tokyo however Snow Cap has to be my new favorite! It's such a soft pinky nude I love it!

Package!

I love coming home to packages it's like Christmas all over again. I received this one yesterday so I decided to share!

Both of these were just $9.99 each! The jeans fit beautifully on me, unfortunately I didn't take a picture with them on but I was pleasantly surprised since I rarely order bottoms online. They turned out to be more high waisted on than what they seemed in the photo online but that's no biggie. 

Next is the bag which is what I was mostly excited about. It's so beautiful and looks even better in person! I love how sturdy it is and I especially love the removable coin purse that comes with it. Another plus is definitely the pattern inside of the bag

It's also very spacious which is always good! I bought both of these at 10dollarmall.com where everything is basically 10 dollars or less. I highly recommend this site to anyone who loves finding good style deals. The items on this site are also of very good quality!

OOTD + Hair!

I actually wasn't planning on going out today since its been raining all day but my sister convinced me and I thought my outfit was pretty decent for a rainy day so I decided to share. Here's what I had on with prices if possible.

There's my outfit, now moving on to hair. I don't normally include my hairstyle and probably won't in future posts but I just loved this hairstyle

Since it was such an ugly rainy day and I was having a bad hair day I decided to put my hair in a bun. Unfortunately all the buns I attempted came out lopsided or way too messy so my last resort was the sock bun! I'm not sure why I don't do this often but I absolutely love the way it looks. I'll definitely be trying this more frequently let's see how it goes!

SoHo Haul!

So just a quick heads up, this will probably be a lengthy post but let's get into it!

The first store I visited was Necessary Clothing which probably has to be one of my favorite stores, they have the cutest things! Here's what I got from there:

Unfortunately my sunglassss broke so I actually only went back to buy the same ones cause I'm in love with them! However the pair on top caught my eye so I tried them on and they stole my heart as well! I was going to buy them in black because I didn't want to have only brown sunglassss but I just love them in that color. These were $5.43 each.

Next was this maxi dress which I love! I actually don't own any maxi dressss with splits so this is very exciting and the back opening on the dress also adds a beautiful look to it, I can't wait to put it on! This dress was $24.99.

*I also purchased my birthday dress from Necessary but I don't want to post it till then

The next store I went to was Forever 21. I actually didn't plan on finding anything since I haven't found anything I liked from there in quite a while, but surprisingly I did today. 

I found this shirt randomly on a rack and instantly loved the color it just also so happened to be my size! Now that it's getting warmer tees will be my go to piece of clothing so finding a cute one is definitely a plus. This shirt was $14.90

So I'm really excited about this purchase! I haven't bought let alone worn earrings in years but I missed how cute they looked, especially since I have my firsts and seconds pierced I thought it was time to give them a try again. The large pack was $6.90 and the small pack was $3.90

I bought full size lint rollers from Forever 21 a while back but always find myself traveling with them and they can take up a lot of space in my bag so I was super excited to find mini lint rollers + refill that I can take anywhere. Not only are they so convenient but look at them they're so stylish and cute too! Both packs were $1 each.

Lastly I found this on the checkout line they had them in all colors but of course I chose pink. I just thought it was so handy, sometimes it's good to have a massager on hand for those achy shoulder days. This massager was $3.90

The third and last store I visited was mystique. I've been going to mystique for a few years now but never really purchased anything. Today I found some cute things though!

The first thing I bought was this dress. I've been looking for a casual mid calf dress just like this. I was slightly bummed  that this was the only color they had since I was looking forward to racking up on these. The dress was $17.99

Yes, I already have this and yes, I bought it again! Both colors that I have this in got messed up somehow so I was so happy to see that mystique had them. I'm so obsessed with these stretchy bodysuits they're so versatile and can be worn day or night wether the event is casual or dressy this will do! I purchased it in black as well. Both bodysuits were $24.99 each.

So there's my SoHo haul I'm so pleased with the turnout and can't wait to wear these for summer!

Maxxinista!

So I'll admit I'm in TJ Maxx a lot! However I'm always in the baby/kids section buying something for my nephews or nieces I rarely ever even pass by the woman's clothing section and the reason for that is beyond me! As I was walking to the checkout line today I passed by the woman's clothing section and a certain maxi dress caught my eye at first I figured they wouldn't have my size since I always have trouble finding a medium in anything but they did! So I thought why not try it on and give it a chance? It fit so beautifully I fell in love instantly! My only complaint is the dress is too long for me but nothing a good tailor can't fix. I can't wait to wear this dress over the summer it's such a beautiful flowy fabric perfect for day or night! I'll definitely be in the women's clothing section more often after today! 

Covet!

So I'm currently obsessed with this game called Covet. If you're into fashion or even styling people this is the game for you! You basically compete in themed contests and have to style your model to fit that theme from her clothes to her makeup once you submit your look others will vote on it. Anything 4 stars and up wins. The prizes vary from a formal dress to a handbag. I seriously can't get enough of this app and recommend it to everyone!

SO! this is my very first post on my very first blog how exciting!
