Birthday Party!

I decided to share a small sideshow of my party with you all. I did it yesterday (Saturday) but my actual birthday is tomorrow(Monday) I'll be turning 20 years old! The party was Hawaiian theme and was decorated so beautifully. Unfortunately I didn't really get any photos of the decorations but here it is:

I hope everyone enjoyed watching!

Until next time, xoxo

Sunday Savings!

This week's Sunday Savings is really small since I was focused on running errands for my party I didn't really purchase things for myself. But the one thing I did purchase has been my favorite right now so let's get into it.

I was in the dollar section in Rite Aid and spotted this little adorable scented reed diffuser. I got it in the scent vanilla sandalwood. This little gem lets out so much scent for its size it's also so pretty and decorative. I only paid 99 cents for this and couldn't be happier with it! I'm definitely going back for more scents as soon as I get the chance.

There's this week's Sunday Savings, until next Sunday, xoxo

Small Five Below Haul!

Yesterday I was in Five Below since a new one opened literally a block away from my boyfriend's house meaning I'll be there 25/8! For those of you who don't know what Five Below is, it's a store where everything is one dollar to five dollars. I didn't go as crazy as I thought I would but I did purchase some things so I decided to share.
The first three things I bought were on a 3 for $5 special. I got 2 different packs of hair clips since I've been really into half up-dos lately plus I lose these by the minute so it's great to have a bunch. I also bought a pack of hair ties since I also loss these all the time. I also bought this pack since I love the goody brand hair products and there were some cute colors in the pack. I only have black hair ties so it can't hurt to add some colors to the mix.
Another 3 for $5 special I took advantage of were these nail polishes. There were so many to choose from so this was a hard decision but I settled on these three from the brand Fresh Paint. I got these in the colors(from left to right) "Glass Slipper", "Enchanted", & "Guava" I'm really excited to try these I think they're all perfect for summer!

The last thing I got was this Banana Boat Sunscreen + Moisturizer. I prefer spray on sunscreen over any other type so to find one that moisturizes for $5 was perfect. This will definitely come in handy for my boyfriend's game days.

There's my small Five Below haul hope everyone enjoyed reading!

Until next time, xoxo

Hope everyone enjoyed reading

Until next time, xoxo

Sunday Savings!

Here's this week's Sunday Savings:
I picked up this 24 pack of Reusable Ice Cubes from Walgreens for only $2! I've never tried reusable ice cubes but I've heard of them. These work really well and get your drinks cool fast. I actually don't like having ice cubes in my drinks as weird as that may sound but the reason for that is the ice cubes melt way too fast and water down my drinks so to find these were a blessing. The colors are also very Spring like so that's a plus.
The next thing I got was this Moisturizing facial sheet mask. I bought this while out with my aunt and she said they're really good which is why I picked it up, also because it was only $2! I got this in Sally's beauty supply and am really excited to use it since I have really dry skin. We'll see how it goes.

There's what I got this week for under $3! Hope you all enjoyed reading.

Until next time, xoxo

My top 5 favorite series on Netflix!

Here's a list of my top 5 favorite series on Netflix. Although these are all favorites of mine I will be listing them from Most favorite to least favorite. Let's get into it.
Friday Night Lights is probably one of the best shows I've ever seen! Yes, it's that good. The series focuses on a handfulof highschool football players and the people who surround them. We get to follow their ups and downs and all their drama. It sounds a little similar to Degrassi I know, but it's the furthest thing from it. This show will literally have you felling 4 different emotions in only one episode. FNL is set in Dillon, Texas so it has that country feel to it. I'm not a fan of Football at all I'll be honest but I found myself rooting for Coach Taylor's team to win. Friday Night Lights will have you hooked from the very first episode I guarantee it. Netflix has the whole series which is 5 seasons.
Gossip Girl is basically like the opposite of Friday Night Lights in terms of the character types and where the show is set. Gossip Girl is about a group of filthy rich highschool friends or frenemies who live in the upper east side of Manhattan. The show doesn't only follow them as Highschoolers they go on to college as well. Now let's get into a big piece of the series, Gossip Girl is a website that pretty much follows these characters around and writes gossip posts about them whether they're good or bad, this mystery person also known as Gossip Girl knows their deepest darkest secrets and isn't afraid to post them up for the world to see. The group tries multiple times to take this person down and to even find out who he/she is. Wether they're successful or not I won't say but this is definitely a must watch! Netflix has the full series which is 6 seasons.

Scandal is another drama-filled show its probably the most dramatic one on the list! It's based on Olivia Pope and her associates who work in Washington DC. Olivia Pope is basically a lawyer who mostly represents the higher ups as in people of congress. Olivia comes with her own set of baggage as well but I won't get into that since I don't want to give too much away. The craziest things happen on this show and I mean the CRAZIEST! Every episode ends on a cliff hanger and keeps you guessing. Scandal is still airing on live TV but Netflix has Seasons 1-3 for those who need to catch up. I recommend this show to anyone who likes straight up, get to the point drama. Scandal will not disappoint you.
Pretty Little Liars is a show I began watching when I was still in highschool so that's more than 2 years ago and the show is STILL airing, crazy right? PLL is about a group of 4 bestfriends. Their bestfriend Allison is murdered and with the police officers in their town not doing much to solve the murder they're left to pick up the pieces. As if that's not enough mystery they begin to be tormented by someone who calls themselves "A" which coincidentally is the same initial as their dead bestfriend's. This A person knows everything the girls are doing and everything they have done and isn't afraid to hold it against them any chance they get. The show is set in RoseWood, Pennsylvania which is a small town where everyone knows everyone. The only complaint I have about this show is that it seems to be dragging. PLL has literally been on for years and we have no clue who A is. It sometimes feels like the show is going in circles and circles which can be annoying. For someone who has never seen this show I would recommend to wait until the show is completely over and then watch the whole thing on Netflix. Right now however Netflix has seasons 1-4. Besides the long wait to find out who A is this show is soo good and is the most mysterious one on my list.
Hart of Dixie is one of those cute country shows in my opinion, I will admit I've only watched up until season 3 but the show still made it onto my favorites list. The series is about a New York girl who is starting a life in Blue Bell, Alabama. As you may have guessed it's probably not the easiest transition, it takes Zoe a while to adjust to life in the country. That's not her only problem however, she seems to have quite a lot of boy trouble the minute she gets there and with boy trouble comes girl trouble, Zoe feels as if she still needs to find her place in the world. We get to follow her on her journey to fitting in and feeling accepted. The show has apparently been canceled on live TV which sucks but Netflix has seasons 1-3.

I hope everyone gives atleast one of these shows a try, I promise you won't regret it!

Until next time, xoxo

Vision Board 2015!

Hello beauties! So I've been wanting to write a post about my goals for this year however I felt that a regular text post would be sort of boring so I decided to make a vision board! First I want to say that this was sooo much fun to make & it's so cool to actually see my goals! Here's what they are, in no particular order.

1. Get my License
2. Buy my first car
3. Eat healthier/Try new foods
4. Be more organized
5. Get good grades
6. Get involved on campus
7. Manage my money better

These are all goals I'll be working towards all year(From May 2015 to May 2016) and I know I can reach every single one of these. Vision boards are so amazing and helpful and I recommend  making them to everyone! I would love to see some more vision boards and read what others have as their goals, & yes that IS a photo of me cropped on to a NYS Driver's License lol!

Btw: I used a free app called Papelook to make my vision board.

Until next time, xoxo

Sunday Savings!

Let's get right into this week's Sunday Savings:

The first item I'll be talking about is this Nivea Creme that I got for only 60 cents in Walgreens. Lately my hands have been so dry and every lotion I've used has left my hands even more dry but this one is great! It leaves my hand so soft and can also be used on your face or even your feet. Another plus is how small and compact it is which makes it so easy to take with me anywhere. I love this and really recommend it to anyone in need of a good travel size lotion.

The second item is something I love! It's a little stationary set that comes with two different to do lists and a pen. The larger pad is magnetic which is so handy and smaller pad is great for travel. The pen that comes with it is also so cute! I purchased this in Target for $3 and will definitely be buying more when I run out.

The next thing I got were these Air Wick Stick Ups that have been amazing & were only $1 I put one in my closet and it smells so good in there now, I'm so happy I purchased these.

If you know me you know I love any type of candles. I found this candle in Dollar Tree for a dollar of course. The scent is great and perfect for summer it's also such a cute decorative accent and so pretty to look at.

There's my Sunday Savings! Hope everyone reading found this useful.

Until next time, xoxo

Birthday wish list!

It's that time of they year again! My birthday is right around the corner so I decided to make a birthday wish list, which are things I'll be extremely excited to receive or even buy for myself. Lets get started:
So the first thing I'm really dying for is an Alex & Ani bracelet! I would especially love any of these 3. The first one is the Take The Wheel Charm Bangle. I love this one mostly for the message behind it, it's so empowering and beautiful the little wheel charm is also so cute! The next one is the June Birthstone Charm Bangle. I like this one because it has a sort of personal touch to it, being its my birthstone. I really love how simple it is the color is also perfect! The third one and maybe my favorite is the Initial S Charm Bangle. I love anything with my initial on it, especially jewelry! This is a piece I'll definitely wear everyday. All three of these retail for $28 each

The next thing on my wish list is the elf total skin care. I will admit I don't have a skin care routine but I really want to get on one so I found this elf skin care line and thought I'd try it. The reviews on this are great and they seem effective, I would love to see how they work out on my skin. The whole line retails for $42
Next on my birthday wish list and probably the one I'm most excited about are these Jewelry candles! These are amazing, it's a candle that comes with a piece of jewelry inside. After burning the candle for a little while you'll see a foil package and inside comes a piece of jewelry which varies from a ring to a necklace to a bracelet. The value of the jewelry ranges from $10 to $7500 and it's completely random how exciting is that! I definitely wouldn't mind getting  more than one of these to be completely honest and may end up buying one for myself! These retail for $24 each
Next up is a gift set from Bath & Body Works, I love love love bath & body works and wouldn't mind adding some more to my collection. All of their fragrances are AMAZING I haven't ran into one I didn't like and probably never will. This retails for $25
Next is anything makeup! From brushes to blushes, to lipsticks, to eyeshadows anything is just fine. I love makeup and have been experimenting more with it lately so having more products to test out and play with is great!

The last thing on my wish list is something I'll probably end up treating myself too. It's the Long Champ Le Pliage Large Tote Bag in Navy. I've been obsessed with this bag since the first time I laid eyes on it! I love how simple and sturdy this bag looks and I know I can wear it with anything! This will be a perfect addition  to my bag collection being as I don't have a color like it. This retails for $145

There's my birthday wish list! Until next time, xoxo

May BoxyCharm!

My first BoxyCharm came in yesterday and I was pleased for the most part! For those of you who don't know what BoxyCharm is, it's a monthly subscription box that costs $21 each month. In the box comes 4-5 full size beauty items which vary from lipstick to eyelashes to blush! Let's talk about what came in mine.

The first thing I got was this brow trio from Bodyography. At first glance I wasn't extremely excited due to the fact that I don't shade in my eyebrows but as I continued to read the info on the box I learned that this can be used as eyeshadow and even blush which is great since I'll be able to put it to use. This retails for $19.00

The next thing I got was the Bodyography brow brush which is meant to be used with the brow trio. I did mention that I don't fill in my eyebrows so the actual brush probably won't be used however I can always use a new spooley brush so that's fine. This retails for $19.00

The next item I got was this Lauren B. Beauty Nail Polish in the color Sunset Blvd. I like this color I don't really have anything like it so I'm excited to add it to my collection. I'm not sure how I feel about it as a summer color so I don't know if I'll be using it any time soon but I'll definitely be using it. This retails for $18

Next is The Lip Bar Lipstick. Let me start off by saying I love love love the packaging of this lipstick! I think it's so unique and definitely cute. I'm not too crazy about the color of the lipstick I'll admit, simply because I don't think I can pull a color like that off but I'll definitely try to experiment with it. If all of my experiments fail however I can always use it for a Halloween makeup look or something along those lines. This retails for $20.00

Here's a swatch of the lipstick in case anyone was wondering how it looked.
The last and in my opinion the best thing I got was this ModelCo Bronze Shimmer which I'm basically obsessed with! I don't know if it's because I've been really into bronzers lately or because the color is simply gorgeous but I love this! The little shimmers in the bronzer make it even more beautiful. I'll definitely be using this often and can't wait to play around with it! This retails for $22

Thats what I got in my May Bold & Beautiful BoxyCharm! I hope everyone reading this found this useful.

Until next time, xoxo

Sunday Savings!

This week's Sunday Savings is the biggest one yet! Let's get right into it:

The first 2 items I'll be talking about are these Mark Hill hair products that I bought on clearance at Duane Reade. I am LOVING these! The first one(left) is a cream that you apply to damp hair before straightening. This left my hair so silky and smooth I was so amazed. The next product is a 3-in-1 which I can't be more happy about! It works as a heat protectant that you use before straightening and also works as a shine spray if sprayed on damp hair, thirdly it works as a hairspray...I know I didn't believe it either but it's true! Not only does it hold extremely well but it leaves your hair soft and without that rough, sticky hairspray feeling which I very much appreciate. The best part of it all however is how much I spent on these, their original price was $10.99 but I got them for $2.72 each! I am extremely pleased with these and may even go back and purchase them at regular price.
The next item is this huge bottle of Sonoma Spa bubble bath in the scent Japanese Cherry Blossom. This bubble bath is heavenly it makes soo much bubbles with only 2 capsules of liquid. The scent also stays on your skin which is another plus to the product. If you know me you know I can stay in the bath for literally hours honestly! So to find such a large amount of this stuff for only $2.79 was more than great! I won't be running out any time soon but once I do I'll definitely be going back for more.
Lastly, let's talk about my little life saver here. I bought this tumbler cup in Target for $3! It's so handy and I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy it was. The lid seals on tight and the straw is nice and sturdy as well. I use this everyday and love how cold it keeps my drinks. It's perfect for travel or just staying home . If you have a target near you, go and pick this cup up for only 3 bucks!

There's my Sunday Savings, hope you all found this useful!

Until next tme, xoxo

Today's Mani!

Hello Beauties! I decided to share with you all what polishes I used to paint my nails. I went with the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in the color "Muave It" which I purchased for $5 in Duane Reade. I absolutely love it! If you haven't noticed I'm pretty much obsessed with any type of nude pink and love love love this color! I think it's the perfect shade for spring plus it goes with anything! I also appreciate how fast the nail polish dries since waiting for nail polish to dry can be the longest process ever.
For the top coat I used the Sally Hansen Gel Shine 3D Top Coat that I purchased for $8.79 in Walmart. I love this top coat! It basically gives you the "Gel nail polish" finish without actually having to use gel nail polish which is amazing. The top coat didn't dry as fast as the base coat which was expected however to my surprise it didn't take as long as I thought it would. I most definitely recommend this top coat to anyone who loves shiny nails, I know I do!

Until next time, xoxo

Latest Makeup Finds!

Okay beauties lets talk about my latest pick up. Unfortunately I don't have prices for these but the brands are Nyx and elf which are fairly inexpensive. Here's what I got:

•Elf Flawless Finish Foundation in the color buff

•NYX Above & Beyond Full Coverage Concealer in the color Porcelain

•NYX Studio Pefect Photo-Loving Primer in the color clear

So let's start with the Elf Foundation, I absolutely love this foundation! I've only been using the Maybelline Dream Wonder foundation and have been scared to try any other one since it was working just fine for me but decided it was time for something different. I saw the elf foundation in target and decided to pick it up and wow was I pleasantly surprised! The color is perfect and it has such a smooth finish. At first it looks slightly dewy but after a few minutes it sets flawlessly. I also used the elf foundation brush to apply it and it worked just fine. I'll definitely be repurchasing this when I run out and highly recommend it to anyone in need of a new foundation.

Next up is the NYX Concealer this is another new-found favorite of mine! The consistency of this concealer is great and the coverage is even better plus there's no under eye crease lines which is always good. The only complaint I do have is the  size of the product itself I wish it was a little bit bigger but hey you win some you lose some. All in all I would definitely recommend this product to those in need of a full coverage concealer.

Last but definitely not least is the NYX Primer. As you probably have seen in my everyday makeup post I've been using the NYC primer and realized I'm not too crazy about it so I decided it was time for a new primer. I picked this one up in Target as well and am soo pleased with it! Not only does my concealer and foundation go on smoothly but it lasts all day! The primer isn't oily or sticky at all, it starts off as a cream and ends up almost as a powder which I love. I think I found my new favorite primer! The NYC Primer will have to be kicked to the curb.

I hope everyone reading this found this helpful as well as enjoyed it!

Until next time, xoxo

LIGHTS!

Yes, I'll admit I'm one of those people who love Christmas-looking lights around their room all year long. However I just hate the look of actual Christmas lights, something about them looks for lack of a better word tacky! So I was in Target in the "$1 or $3" spot as usual when I stumbled upon these little blessings! They come in either gold or silver and are just sooo beautiful to look at.
I bought two packs in silver for just $3 which is amazing! Each string of light is 6 feet which actually bordered my dresser mirror pretty well so I didn't really need two but I still decided to add the other string for a more prettier effect. I love how it gives a vanity feel to my dresser and it's also a great alternative for lighting instead of using my nightstand light every night. Another amazing plus is that it's battery operated meaning you won't be required to hang these near an outlet, with just 2 AA batteries you can literally put them wherever you want! I'm pretty much obsessed with these and definitely recommend them to everyone! You can even hang them around your curtain rod or a full body mirror, they're perfect!
Here's the finished product! I hope you all go out and buy some packs of these if you need to spice your home up!

I'm also thinking of getting some more to hang in my closet since there's basically no light in there!

Until next time, xoxo

Sunday Savings!

This week's Sunday Savings is this Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer. I love this! The scent of this lotion is probably the best I've smelled in a while. The best part? It was only $2.19! I was pleasantly surprised to find that the lotion kept me moisturized for quite some time, and the scent lasts even longer on your skin! I recommend this to anyone and everyone looking for a good moisturizing lotion that gives off a beautiful glow as well!
Until next time, xoxo

Top 8 Favorite Stores To shop at!

We all have them, our go-to stores when shopping, here's mine(in no particular order)

Target: Target is seriously the best! This store has everything, You name it they got it! My favorite part of the store is the "$1 or $3 Spot" I can spend so much time in that aisle and want to buy everything! I also love their baby clothes section since I'm always buying things for my nephews and nieces. Target gets 5 stars from me!

Rite-Aid/CVS/Duane Reade: I listed these together because they're all drugstores. I love love love these 3 stores I will confess I'm in one of these 3 atleast once a day, either buying a bottle of water or a new shade of lipstick(I love drugstore makeup!) these stores are so convenient because there's literally one on every corner which I'm definitely not complaining about.

Necessary Clothing: Necessary Clothing has become a new favorite of mine, although their clothes are sometimes on the pricey side they're so worth it! I've bought so many cute pieces from this store. I appreciate how they have a variety of clothes and don't just target one specific style. I always stop by Necessary whenever I shop at SoHo, I sometimes even go to SoHo specifically for Necessary, yes it's true! If you happen to be in the SoHo area and are looking for some cute clothes Necessary Clothing is definitely worth a shot.

Forever 21: Forever 21 is an old favorite of mine. I will admit I haven't exactly found anything in Forever I've fallen in love with in a while, but the store still holds a special place in my heart. Their prices are pretty much unbeatable. Another thing I love about Forever is they don't just stick to only clothes, they've branched out to shoes, purses, jewelry, perfume, body lotion, face masks, umbrellas, home decor, and so much more! The list goes on and on. Forever 21 will always be a favorite of mine.

There's my list of the top 8 stores I love shopping at, what are yours?

Until next time, xoxo

I hope everyone enjoyed! until next time, xoxo
